Albany High School Ultimate Frisbee National Champions!

Albany Unified is proud to celebrate the Albany High School Cougars Ultimate Frisbee team on an incredible achievement: their first-ever National Championship!

The team finished the season with a perfect 35–0 record and was ranked No. 1 in the United States throughout the entire season. In June 2026, the Cougars competed for the national title and faced Green Canyon in a dramatic rematch. With the championship coming down to universe point, Albany won 13–12 to bring home the national title.  

This incredible accomplishment reflects the talent, teamwork, commitment, and hard work of our student-athletes and coaches. Congratulations, Cougars! We are so proud of you!
