Where All Learners Are Challenged To Meet Their Potential

There’s Still Time to Participate: Portrait of an Albany Graduate

Posted Date: 04/23/26 (09:41 AM)

Dear Albany Unified Community,

As we continue this important work together, we invite families, staff, and students to share input on the Portrait of an Albany Graduate—an effort to define the knowledge, skills, and values we want every student to develop by graduation.

Thank you to those who have already participated. Responses continue to emphasize strong academics, critical thinking, real-world skills, resilience, belonging, and preparing students to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

If you haven’t yet participated, there’s still time. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by April 30, 2026. Your input will directly shape this work.
