AUSD Choir Festival 2023 includes ALL students in grades TK, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and all choirs in 5th through 12th grade. Each grade level is invited on stage to present two songs and to show their musical knowledge. The Albany Music Fund (AMF) provides each participant with an AUSD Choir Festival wristband as a thank you for participating.
WHEN: Saturday, April 15, 2023
TIME: 10:00 am to Noon
WHERE: Steps in front of Albany High School 603 Key Route Blvd in Albany, California
ATTIRE: School shirts or your school colors or everyday clothes
WHY: To show how the music program builds a sequential Kodály music literacy program from grade to grade AND to celebrate the children's love of music
HOSTS: JingleJeff Luna-Sparks, Ms. Marina Zubareva and Kate Huizinga (AMS & AHS Choir Director)
